Laos is a wonder of the world where the people are as charming as the country itself. As we participated in this celebratory Baci ceremony in a 115 year old rustic house on an incredible lotus pond, we were blessed with 18 (life) white cotton threads tied around our wrists symbolizing good fortune, honesty, and warmth. What an unforgettable experience!
