The excitement of watching the Winter Olympics in Vancouver every night makes me want to get out there and enjoy winter sports like never before. In fact, I’m discovering new active and fun activities every day. Alpine touring is the new favorite. It’s hiking on skis with an extra perk of getting to ski down the hill after a long climb up with skins on the bottom of your skis. It’s a fantastic workout but just being outside in the fresh mountain air is the real prize. Go USA…keep those medals coming!
