Sydney is all dressed up in her Chanukah garb just to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday season. May the light coming from your Menorah continue to shine bright for 8 days and beyond.
Did you know that the Panama Hat is not from Panama? In fact, it’s always been made in Ecuador where they are called Sombreros. The misnomer stuck after the Ecuadorian hats were shipped to Panama for export but first worn by the workers building the Panama Canal for sun and heat protection. Sydney looks glam wearing her Sombrero woven from the straw of the Toquilla plant from Ecuador.
Happy Chanukah to you.
I am wearing my Sombrero too, Sydney looks better in his!
