Giving food offerings to the streaming line of monks as dawn breaks is one of Luang Prabang’s main attraction.  It’s quite a site to see locals knelt down while  gently placing a piece of fruit or sticky rice in a bowl as the silent procession of the monks weaved through the streets.

Here we are atop Mt Phousi in Luang Prabang, Laos enjoying the sunset with reclining Buddha where the entire country is a UNESCO Heritage Site!  This Buddha might be reclining but we are certainly doing anything but….
